BISBEE, Ariz. (January 14, 2016) – Copper Queen Community Hospital (CQCH) is now accepting Application for their 2016 Development Fund Scholarship Program. Three $2,500 scholarships are available for local high school and college students who are planning careers in healthcare fields. Last year’s Scholarship recipients were all recent graduates of Bisbee High School.
- Emma Conners will attend DePaul University in Chicago to prepare for medical school.
- Stephanie Cuevas, Cochise Community College, Nursing.
- Ciara Garcia will attend the University of Arizona as a nursing student.
“As a local healthcare provider we want to support the efforts of those in our community who want to pursue careers in healthcare, which often are the most difficult positions to fill and offer graduates a greater opportunity for job placement,” said CQCH Chief Executive Officer Jim Dickson.
