PALOMINAS – Copper Queen Community Hospital (CQCH) and Copper Queen Medical Associates Palominas are proud to be hosting their First Annual Health Fair and Open House Event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.
The health fair will include presentations, entertainment for adults and children, free health screenings, giveaways, free food and opportunities to meet physicians and other local healthcare providers. Bicycle helmets and car seats will be provided through CQCH’s partnership with Tucson Medical Center. The health fair is family-friendly, with a children’s area including free children’s entertainment and a bounce house.
“We are excited to offer Palominas residents a fun, educational opportunity to meet their local healthcare providers and take away some excellent information they can use to create healthier habits,” said fair organizer Shannon Manning, CQMA Palominas manager.
“We are also very pleased that through our partnership with TMC, they will be bringing their very popular helmets and car seats giveaway to the area.”
Health education-oriented vendors are invited to join the fair to provide healthy living and preventive information to the public. Questions about the fair can be directed to Manning at (520) 366-0300 or firstname.lastname@example.org.[ read more...]
