BISBEE — Copper Queen Community Hospital (CQCH) is proud to welcome Director of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Laura Lane to the team.
Lane comes with more than 23 years of progressively responsible health care experience. She has a Bachelors in Nursing and a Masters in Nursing Health Leadership. Lane is responsible for all Outpatient Clinics and Services, the two emergency departments and all nursing.
“Laura Lane is one of the most outstanding candidates that we have interviewed. She is be taking Nursing to the Clinics and Outpatients Area. She will also be in charge of the two Emergency Departments. We are glad to have her onboard,” said hospital CEO James Dickson.
Before joining CQCH Lane was Director of Nursing Administration at Community Hospital of Monterrey Peninsula, a 258-bed, nonprofit hospital. Prior to that she held the positions of Emergency Department Manager and staff nurse at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. Additionally, she currently serves as Chief Nurse in the United States Army Nurse Corps, Reserves in the 7453rd MBB unit and holds the rank of Full Colonel.
Lane started her nursing career in 2003 when she graduated with honors from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s of Science in nursing.
