Green Chili Cheddar Breakfast Strada
Serves 6 – 8
3 cups heavy cream
¾ loaf bread (crust removed)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
15 ounces diced green chili
5 dashes Tabasco sauce
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
- The night before mix the cream, eggs, salt, pepper and Tabasco in a sprayed 9×13 casserole dish. Cover with one layer of bread, sprinkle cheese and chilies. Repeat layers three times and refrigerate.
- In the morning, preheat over to 350 for two hours. Sprinkle leftover cheese, bake 55 minutes until puffy.
- Serve warm.
