Green Chili Cheddar Breakfast Strada


Serves 6 – 8

10 eggs
3 cups heavy cream
¾ loaf bread (crust removed)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
15 ounces diced green chili
5 dashes Tabasco sauce
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper


  1. The night before mix the cream, eggs, salt, pepper and Tabasco in a sprayed 9×13 casserole dish. Cover with one layer of bread, sprinkle cheese and chilies. Repeat layers three times and refrigerate.
  2. In the morning, preheat over to 350 for two hours. Sprinkle leftover cheese, bake 55 minutes until puffy.
  3. Serve warm.
