Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
Colored sprinkles, hearts, etc.
- Heat together chocolate chips and shortening in microwave for 1 ½ – 2 minutes
- Using a fork, dip each marshmallow into chocolate.
- Place marshmallows on wax paper; immediately spring/decorate.
- Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, 45 – 60 minutes.
- Store, cover and enjoy!
