Performance Improvement Coordinator

About the Role

Copper Queen Community Hospital has an immediate Full Time opening for a Performance Improvement Coordinator in Bisbee. The coordinator will work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to enhance patient care quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Assist in establishing measurable performance indicators/benchmarks; identify trends/areas of improvement; lead/participate in performance improvement projects; implement quality improvement; ensure that the QAPI program meets all regulatory requirements set forth by CMS and others.

Qualifications:
Associate degree in nursing or a healthcare related field with a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare quality improvement/performance or related field.
Knowledge of QAPI for Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics.
Strong analytical skills / experience with descriptive statistics
Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Certification in quality improvement is a plus.
