DOUGLAS — Ana Tejero, D.O., has joined the Copper Queen Community Hospital Douglas Medical Complex. Dr. Tejero will be available for patient appointments starting Monday, Dec. 14.

Most recently Dr. Tejero was with the Chiricahua Community Health Center in Douglas. She received her medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky; her internship at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia; and her residency at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.

“We’re pleased to add Dr. Tejero as a provider at our Douglas Medical Complex,” said Copper Queen Community Hospital Chief Executive Officer Jim Dickson. “Our health care providers are able to serve all ages, and Dr. Tejero is joining a great team.”
