The Health Fair is family-friendly, with a children’s area including a free bounce house for the kids and free food. So bring the kids, meet local healthcare providers, take a tour of the clinic and check out everything the health fair has to offer, including:

•Free car seats and bike helmets offered by Tucson Medical Center

•Free tours of Phi Helicopter’s brand new medical helicopter

•Free tours of Cochise County Sheriff’s Deputies vehicles

•Palominas Fire District is bringing their “Smoke House”

•Free hiking and birding information from the Friends of the San Pedro River

•Free Lipids Panels from The Copper Queen Hospital Lab. The lipid profile is used as part of a cardiac risk assessment to help determine an individual’s risk of heart disease. This test is most accurate while fasting however if you have not fasted the test can still be run.

“We are excited to offer Palominas residents a fun, educational opportunity to meet their local healthcare providers and take away some excellent information they can use to create healthier habits,” said fair organizer and Palominas Clinic manager Shannon Manning.

“We are also very pleased that through our partnership with Tucson Medical Center, they will be bringing their very popular bike helmet and car seat giveaway to the area.”
