Fondant Potatoes

Ingredients:
10 new potatoes (peeled and cut in half length-wise)
Butter
Garlic
Thyme

Directions:

  1. Heat a thin layer of oil in a non-stick pan.
  2. Add a generous knob of butter and sauté potatoes on one side until they develop a golden brown crust.
  3. Throw in a few cloves of smashed garlic and a few sprigs of thyme.
  4. Pour in a cup of water and cover with a tight fitting lid.
  5. Cook on a gentle heat until thoroughly cooked, about 20 minutes.
