BISBEE — Her eyes look tired from working the graveyard shift, but somehow she musters a smile and exuberance as the seven young women taking the Certified Nursing Assistant class walk into the library at Bisbee High School.

Diana Chavez, a registered nurse, works at the Copper Queen Hospital as a floor nurse in acute care and the Benson Hospital in the emergency room. She is also a mother of three and stays active in her children’s education and sports interests.
